Manufacturer Description

This Tru-Flate 12-235 coupler plug is suitable for connecting a hose or tool inlet to a quick-connect coupler socket (not included). It is made of brass for resistance to corrosion and has a 1/4" female National Pipe Thread (NPT) threaded connection for connecting to a male hose fitting. This Industrial/Milton (M-style) coupler plug interchanges with a wide variety of plugs or tools and is recognizable by its 3/16" pilot and flat-bottomed V-shaped ball groove. It has a tubular valve that supports the seal and allows more air flow at lower pressure. The maximum working pressure for this coupler plug is 300 pounds per square inch (psi). This coupler plug is interchangeable with American National Standards Institute (ANSI) and National Fire Protection Association (NFPA) T3.20.14-1990 dimensions, and it is suitable for use with compressed air lines. Tube fittings are components used for connecting, branching, terminating, and changing the direction of tubing in pneumatic and hydraulic systems. They are made of brass, stainless steel, PBT (polybutylene terephthalate), and other materials that resist corrosion and wear. Tube fittings have various types of connections, including threaded, welded, barbed, and push-to-connect (also called one-touch). Push-to-connect connections do not require tools or sealants. Tube fittings are used in various applications, including machine tools, airplane and truck controls, and automated production lines, among others. Plews & Edelmann manufactures automotive and pneumatic hose, lines, reels, accessories, fittings, and lubricants under the Edelmann, Amflo, Omega, LubriMatic, and UltraLube brands. The company, founded in 1909, is headquartered in Dixon, IL.
